How to connect cap
i have two channel amp for two sub and four channel for four component speaker. i just bought a cap, but how i connect it. i think shoul i connect the power wire from battery to cap and cap to where ( two channel amp or four channel.) i have a distribution block too. please advise me thank you

The cap should be connected directly from the battery 1st. Get an inline fuse holder right on the amp though! Don't go below 4 gauge wire. Wire the power out from the cap to your dist. block. Make sure you have seperate grounds for both Amp and Cap - dont share the same ground. Try to keep the cap as close to the amps and you can. You also have to charge the cap before you're good to go.
If you got the direct wire plug in type of cap its worth it than spending time and $ looking for those clamps. A digital meter on it is an excellent thing to have, you'll see it go to work when the amps draw more power.
