HID Inverter / Ballast Cable replacement?
Hi,
The bulb connection from the passenger side inverter/Ballast on my car is missing, the wires have been cut and the bulb holder which attaches to the back of the headlight is gone.
I'm aware of the high voltages etc. passing through these cables and was wondering if I buy a replacement D2S fitting socket will it be OK to strip the wire and connect it to the cut wires coming out of the inverter?
An alternative is to replace the inverter / ballast. Dealer price here in the UK is

Difficult to get a picture at the moment.
I'm planning on taking the bumper off tomorrow for a better view.
The bulb connection from the ballast was cut. Basically the wires to the bulb end without the bulb connector which takes the bulb and plugs into the back of the headlight.
Cheers,
Rob
