Hi you all. recently, i got a custom 10 inch sub box for s2k that fits on the driver side taillight side section and a 10inch alpine type R and they came today!

but, i miscalculated. the sub box's depth was about 0.2inches shallower than the subwoofer. very close from clearing it.

what can i do with this? I was thinking the easiest way is to just add another layer of wood to the subwoofer box in the front where the subwoofer will be mounted. this layer of wood(1/2 inch) would be plenty!

ok...those are my thoughts cuz im dumb in stereos and this is the first amp and sub set up i ever gotten in a car haha. so time for questions!

any easier way? also if i DO add another layer of wood in the front, I need a 10 inch in diameter circle hole for the sub to go in right? ok....how do i make that hole? what tool needed? hahaha im so dumb. also could anyone be kind enough to tell me what amp wiring kit i have to buy? 200W max out put clarion amp and only will run 10inch alpine type R.
