headrest speaker reccomendations?
HEy guys,
i have a set of headrest speaker brackets from ebay and tehy are cut for 6.5 inch speakers (coaxial). i was hoping to get a reccomendation from you all on what you would get. no amp, factory deck and im on somewhat of a budget but id like tos tay right around 100 when ordering from ebay (shipping not included and we all know ebay is way cheaper than any store).
i understand that a lot of you guys are really into like...super expensive audio, but remember i drive a car with a canvas roof and lots of noise. so sound quality is important but not the end of the world.
INFO
Car: 04
HU: stock
Door speakers: stock
Headrest speakers mount in roll bar(s): ????????
thanks in advance

I actually got the same ebay headrest bracket. Here is what i did
I had tweeter holes cut also and installed a set of MTX TXC61 Component Speakers. I also have it powered by a Power Acoustic Amp. It sounds badass!!!! Without the amp, still sounds nice.
Those MTX's are about 200+ a pair, but are worth it. If thats too much, I would recommend the Pioneer TS-D160R (90 bucks a pair) or Pioneer Premier TS-D601P (75 bucks a pair). I would replace the door ones also and install them in the headrest.
