got NEW speakers! but which HU to go for?

Default got NEW speakers! but which HU to go for?

i just installed some new speakers from pioneer
it sounds great!!!! also the price was great!!!
its the model TS-G1641R, it has 160w max power and 30w reg.

now i need new head unit.. don't know which one to go for??
i was looking at "Clarion DB285USB" or "Sony CDX-GT420U"
they both has usb port so i can use ma thumb drive!

anyone have this HU or know any cons and pros about it?

Most people here seem to go with Alpine. I went pioneer and I'm happy with it.
One thing to to do this is check the Modifry site and make sure whatever HU you go with will work with their DCI. Assuming you want to retain your dash controls. Don't forget to factor in the ~$100 DCI price into your budget.

wat is the DCI? and i do want to still use dash controls.(didn't even thought about that..lol still new to the s2k!!)

The Modifry DCI interfaces the dash controls to an aftermarket head unit.

Get an alpine radio (9884, or 9886 both come with an ipod cable) and a PAC SWC-ALP (alpine DCI) you can find the DCI online for $45.

where can i find some wired DCI, thats cheaper than modifry's?
$100 for piece of wire is too expensive.. IMO
i searched google for some DCI but they all show modifry's DCIs..

SWC - steering wheel control.... if you go with an alpine get either a SWC-ALP , or SWC-Jack - half the price :-)
