After scouring the net and getting recommendations on several car audio forums I order a Directed (DEI) amp and 6 1/2 coaxials.

I went with the Directed 400 Two channel amp and the 3062 coaxials. Those coaxials have a frequency response of 45-22 with a high quality silk dome tweeter mounted on a swivel. The amp is a lot of power and is going to drive those babies fine....

Keeping the stock head unit and I do not plan on doing anything with a sub. I dont want a sub that gives low bass to more people outside of my car than myself inside....none of the trunk options appeal to me.

The one option that makes the most sense is making a fiberglass enclosure inside the spare tire and then making perforations in that panel between the trunk and the cabin.....this is unacceptable to me at this point.....

I'm going to mount the amp in the spare tire like cdelena did.

Have any of you had any experience with Directed's products?
