Maybe I did get off on the wrong foot but honestly I still feel the same way. To say he's going to leave his speakers bolted to the seats like that... I'm sorry but that's just wrong. That's my opinion.
I would say that whether or not I had the system I do. I designed and built that system myself. It changes every year. Its been taken apart already and most of what you've seen in pictures here is on the floor and will end up in the trash, moved aside for the next setup. I take great pride in the work I do and the way I help people here, whether your brother wants to admit it or not. I could help him but it doesn't seem like he wants the help or that he can take any kind of criticism good or bad. Which is fine, his choice, its a free country.

Let me first off say that i am sorry.

I some how turned this thread into a topic of the "correct way" to build a stereo. I never intended it that way and that is were i got confused. I really don't take criticism well, as you can tell.

darkknight1999, i have so much respect for what you do for this forum. I really do appreciate all of your knowledge and time that you have committed. I wont argue the fact that there is a WAY better way of building a s2k stereo. I was just stoked that i got two more speakers in my s2k for under 10 bucks. i had them lying around the house and i used ways to wire and mount them without spending anything over 10 bucks. i really would like to go the proper route but that is not going to be for a LONG time.

I really think my brother intended this thread to be a joke, and i got caught up in the mix. I don't want to mess this up more then i already have. i know there is going to be something that i need off of your brain; but as for this topic, i didn't need anything other then a good laugh.

How did you run the wire for the ipod? I'd appreciate pics of that and details on that run. I have the alpine 9856
