i'm selling a brand new set of boston proseries 6.5 speaker set for $290 shipped. they are not refurb speakers but are brand new in the the box. lowest price on eBay is $298+s&h = $320.00. retail at good guys is $450+tax=$485.00. i will not consider anything lower than this price. please do not PM me if it is anything lower than this. this is as good a price as you will find anywhere for a brand new set.

here are some notes to answer some common questions to my post:

1) these are not direct replacement speakers. these speakers do need a little bit of work to mount. these speakers will also need an amp to power them. the stock or any aftermarket head unit does not provide sufficient power.

2) as mentioned, this is a brand new set of speakers in its original packaging. it comes with 2 woofers, 2 tweeters, 2 crossovers, and some mounting hardware.

3) if you ask me or most people, they will tell you that boston proseries are very good speakers. however, i will also recommend you to try and listen to them yourself. speakers are very subjective items. best best is to hear for yourself and them determine whether they are good or not. go to a good guys and hear for yourself!

Someone should buy these at this price! I have a pair on my S2000, and they sound awesome. Another less known benefit to these speakers is that the pro 6.5s are rated at only 3 Ohms (compared to 4 Ohms for most speakers) resulting in more power from the amplifier driving them.
