With all my free time today (hurricane rita), I started thinking about how the new infiniti kappa perfects I am getting would compare to the Focal Utopias I used to have? What can I expect. I mean the price difference is almost $400. So something has to be different. What I am wondering is if I should just spend some more money and get better components (such as Focal K2p's), or will the Kappa's be sufficient.

Tell me some differences I can expect, or are the differences only noticeable in a car with a quiet sound stage like a BMW 745?

Meaning with all the wind noise and road noise associated with our cars, is the difference in performance and price pretty much not noticeable between the two?

The amps are just power, so I am not worried about that, and the rest of my new system is exactly like my old one.
