Yes you can buy them from whoever makes them. They aren't hard to make though.

MDF = Medium Density Fiberboard.

It's good for a lot of stuff, but doors where lots of moisure can get to them isn't something that MDF is good for. MDF is a sponge, and will suck up moisture and swell.

Paint hardboard or starboard (plastic) is the way to go. Not sure if anyone makes spacers (you don't just need adapters but spacers) for the S2000 in a mass production format. Any stereo shop (or yourself if you have a drill, jigsaw and time) can make them though.

I cant say exactly how big the spacers are because my audio guy installed it.
They look like they provide about 1" of extra depth for the speaker.

nobody is gonna have the exact same setup as you so theres really no point in asking. if you check out PAS2KNut link, he was able to fit Focal Utopias with 3/4" spacers which definitely has a larger driver than Focal Access, so i would start from there. bottom line every speaker varies slightly but you can make it fit, you just need to figure out the right depth and might even have to trim a little bit here and there.

165VR3's here. You need to remove the oem basket and add a spacer. The spacer will lift the seeker and allow the larger magnet to clear. MDF is medium density fiberboard.......not good ifitgets wet but it's a cheap solution. Look for a set of plastic. If you are running Focal then you know what I'm saying.

I know we talked via email but this can easily be done – just need the right installer and proper tools.

I have the Focal K2P (Power) which is much larger than yours and we easily fit this to both my 2005 and 2009 s2000’s.
