Default Factory buttons

I know that lucid sells something that keeps the factory radio controls if you get a new stereo that has a wireless remote controll. I was just wondering if any of you tried this. Is it good, or does it have some flaws or bugs???
pictures of the install would be great!!!!

It doesn't handle the Mute button - that needs a relay to invert the power or turn off the deck. There is also a slight delay in processing when you push the button. On the OEM radio a quick 1/4 sec jab would do the function, with it, you have push the button, like a half second. You'll notice it when you change over to it, but you'll get used to it.

Lucid uses the SWI-X from PAC (Pacific Audio Corp. - http://www.go2pac.com) which you can pick up at most audio stores. However, while combined PAC and wiring harnesses have been offered on this board in the past, he offers what I consider a reasonable deal. Other options are open, such as the control unit from S2kMan, if you have a Sony head. See my webpage to get a rough idea what's going on...
