DIY: Easy Bluetooth interface for stock radio
As I am very late to the S2000 party everyone else might have taken care of this already but in case anyone is looking to add a Bluetooth kit to their car I found a pretty simple option from Yatour that was meant for a Goldwing.
This is not my car and it is a super low mile example so I don't want to ruin any of the value for her and wanted a completely reversible method. I can't comment on the long term stability of this item's Bluetooth connectivity as I just installed it but so far the sound quality is good and it has paired with multiple phones without issue.
The Yatour BTA-HON2F has the socket end on it instead of the plug end (they call it the female end but it has the pins so I consider it the male side...) and it plugs directly into the cable end that is in the trunk without any adapter needed. It is listed as being only for the Goldwing but it works perfectly on this 2006 S2000. I have not hooked up the microphone yet as my main goal was Pandora and Waze but may run the mic in the future.

I got mine from Amazon which was probably the last one in stock as I received it in a couple days and now it is listed as shipping in 1-2 months:
Car Bluetoot-h Adapter, Digital Car Stereo Aux Interface with Power 3.5mm Music Compatible for Honda Goldwing GL1800 2001-2005 Standard, Max 6 folders (BTA- HON2F)
If it is going to take that long to arrive anyway you can save a few bucks and get it direct from AliExpress:

@Malebolgia Have you tried checking if the radio controls like previous/next track and play/pause function? It's listed as one of the features but just wanted to confirm.

I know that hitting the channel button of the dash controls near the steering wheel will advance to the next song in Pandora but the volume toggle only affects the head unit and we don't have buttons for play/pause so I don't know about those. I assume the mute button also directly affects the head unit so will work as before.
Update on connection quality is looking good, I have been in and out of the car multiple times and even when both of our phones that are paired to the car are in it the first one to launch Pandora gets control so no worries about multiple drivers. I did have one instance where I was learning how to reset the oil life indicator (there are a few incorrect procedures listed on some websites so it took me a few tries) where I ended up turning the key on and off several times in a small amount of time and the phone did not auto connect when we started driving. This was fixed by doing a manual connect on the phone but hopefully that won't happen under normal use.

Can confirm the Yatour BTA-HON2F works well for the S2k, when you change the MODE by the button on the left hand side dash, I had to use CD 4 for some reason and the music / calls come in loud and clear after pairing with my phone. One note during installation is that you have to remove an existing white cap on the CD changer cable, at first I thought I had the wrong cable / product.
I had to order from aliexpress, arrived in about 1 week: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2255...2469f19cPIDZ1B
I also routed the included microphone into the cabin through the trunk, you can remove one panel behind the driver's seat (it is the one with the two hooks that bolt it to the car) and pass the wire straight through:
remove the cap circled in red from the CD changer white connector, I zip tied it back on so I don't lose it

Attaching the cap nearby is a pretty good idea, I didn't mention the plug removal but because they just used an unpinned connector as a cap I see how that could be confusing. Instead of your idea I went with removing the cap to spend a lot of unnecessary time cleaning the foam tape and adhesive residue off of it so that I will eventually misplace it anyway if I ever need it again

I haven't run the microphone yet, can you post a pic of where you mounted it in the cabin, I am still trying to find the best place to put it?
