You can get adaptors - Alpine units are the best - the adapter number for my setup is the 856 in my signature

Now, now, AquilaEagle. Aren't you going to tell him that, aside from the $3K CDA-7990, the Alpine adapter only works on European Alpine decks?

Supercharged_S, check-out some of your options at lucidautomotive.com. I just received my DCI today and will probably install it tomorrow for use with my Alpine HU.

my DCI works great and was well worth the money. it was fairly easy to wire up, required no programming skills, and works as advertised.

I have a Sony CDX730 H/U and bought the DCI and Harness from Lucid. All wires are colour coded for installation and it took 30 minutes to install - 15 minutes soldering time and 15 minutes installation.

Make sure that the Sony H/U has a 2.5 mm jack for a remote commander.

Lee.
