Absolutely I do I think John would but I wont answer for him. They have done about 5 dash cuts after mine! Not sure how it would be less visible though?

mine IS bigger than yours, mikey
It's not the size, it's how well it slides in and out... I can get 8 inches to slide into her vent.

But by all means, you guys just keep cutting big holes in your dash...

Hey Guys, i'm just about to join the 'Dash cutting club' as well. I may even be the first European to do it :-))

I had the bezel made by Motor Music, it's the old version which is way cooler than the new one (see above).

My question to you guys is how to install the bezel, cut the dash and how does it stay put? It's the first time i've done anything like this.

My guess is cutting an X and thinnening the flaps in the dash, then flap them inside and insert the bezel. Would sticking it be a good option?

Thanks!

What makes you think that big thing is fitting in the dash?
The 7 inch xenarc fits in the dash. An 8 inch would be pushing it.

Here is part one of fabrication for the 7 in.

I'm about to join the club! Getting mine done at the same place as mikes2k and yeloscreamer. I'm going a different route, with a 1-Din all-in-one unit in the dash. I guess the spot where the head unit is now will hold the PS2 controller I'll post pics after I get the car back, probably next Tuesday (8/30). Going with the Clarion ProAudio VRX755VD so I can keep my Sirius tuner and CD changer.

Also, if anyone has pics of a PS2 mount, I would like to see it so I have some ideas. Thanks!

I like my 'motormusic' install very much, but the edges are a pain in the ass.
