Don't really know yet. Might jump into it tomorrow if time permits in the morning but I have school in the afternoon so not sure yet. You planning on being in the area? I know you travel sometimes...

I am not sure I am doing the deed tomorrw. I still have to take out my AVICD2 and XM unit before I start on this. If that goes quick, I may start and get the dash all taped up and marked. Not sure if I will cut though. wednesday definatly, because my screen will be ariving in the afternoon.

Took the plunge today. Busy day!
Got the majority of the stuff done. I still need to widen up the hole a tiny bit in spots to make it fit in easier.
The screen should be in tomorrow and then I can work on the mounting system for the screen. I may be getting some help as John (darkknight1999) might be swinging by to help!!
Here is the horror pics:
the foam behind the vynil is pretty thick:
Oh, the horror:
Peel back the vinyl and remove the foam from underneath to give a nice beveled edge:
Where I am now. still need to do some more trimming to make it fit flush without pressure. If I push on it, it sinks in nice, but I want to get it to drop in a bit easier. as you can see, I F'd up the vinyl in the corner a bit with a slip of the razor. I think it can be glued down and color matched easy enough though. the pic makes it look worse:
