Fwiw, I chose the Polk's for the price I got on them and the sound they put out. They are very brite but have great mid bass and were relatively straight forward to install. Now I run with my treble at -2 and zero gain for the polks because they are very brite - it sounded good to me in the store but needed a bit of tuning once in the car - they have the range though.

Thanks everyone for your input. I believe that I will go with the Perfects. Sounds like its the best bang for the buck. I'll let you know what I think after I get everything installed...give me a couple weeks!
