Hey guys,

I just purchased a 2006 LBP S2000 and bought the VIPER 5901 (Car security alarm and remote start). I am shopping around for installation prices for this car security system on my '06. The best estimate that I received so far is $250 w/o bypass module or 300 with bypass module.

Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions for local shops or people in Northern VA, DC, Maryland who would do the installation on the security alarm and remote start on a s2k at a good price and is reliable?

if you're going with remote start.. do a search here for "neutral safety".

Modifry made a great neutral safety swtich using a reed swtich so that your car won't start in gear.

either make it yourself or have it made by the alarm installer.
