Default Can't use the light switch control stick?

Hello, i cant use my controls switch beside the steering wheel anymore to turn off the HID's or the lights? Is it a common problem?

Is it a fuse or something maybe?

Assuming that European cars are substantially similar to US, and I can't imagine why not,
if all of your lights remain on - HID as well as parking lights, side markers, tail lights,
etc., the only single point of failure is the switch itself.
In general, the lights are fed +12v through several relays; the appropriate relays close
when grounded through the switch. Because there are so many separate circuits involved,
it's hard to imagine that a short elsewhere could provide a path to ground for everything,
bypassing the switch.
