Default can someone make a step by step footwell light guide?

I am looking to install footwell lights in my car this weekend using neons. Ive seen wiring diagrams and stuff when i searched and i saw a guide with pictures but it used modifry's system. Im trying to do this with spending as little money as possible. So can someone give me a step by step guide without that system. Where is this 12+ v source i gotta tap into. And then from there i still dont know what. So can you help me? Thanks

I have a 12" neon going horizontally under the drivers footwell. I attached each end using zip ties around the existing wires under neath. I cut the car adapter plug off, stripped the wires and tapped into the fuse box.

I then hooked up a 10" neon to the passanger side. I set it up front to back and it's held using 3m double sided tape (has held up for almost 2 years now with no problem). There's a hole that you can put the wire through (bent metal coat hanger) to the drivers side and again wire it to the fuse box. Becareful to make sure that you wire it correctly so not to make it a fire hazzard.

Sorry if that's not a technical step-by-step guide but it should help. Let me know if you need me to clearify anything.
