can i fit 2 12 inch subs in the s2k trunk
I recently bought a MY00, i have 2 12 inch rockford hx2s i had in my prelude sitting in a custom camaro box. Obviously this box won't fit in the s2k. So has anyone done it? I would love some ideas on where to put them and possibly some box dimensions.

yes, i'd like to still fit stuff in it. i was thinking by putting them in the far right and left corners it would still leave a bit of room in the middle. they only need 1 cubic ft for a box.

1 CF each? That is kinda low....most 10" subs require that much (or close to it). I would imagine it COULD be done, but would require some major custom work. They would also pretty much come out to the sides of the tool well, leaving minimal storage.
I think someone on this board has a box fabricated for the tool well. It rises up, and slopes down at a 45 degree angle to either side of the well. Not sure if they are 10's or 12's, though. A similar enclosure, if all fiberglass, would probably yield close to 2CF.

what brand is that? 1000WRMS capability? Are you interested in going deaf?
I would not trust second hand sites on info like that, expecially if there is variation. Get those from the manufacturer's site. There is a lot of BS information floating around.
wow...just stumbled on it in another thread....dunno if they are 10's or 12's...\
Look a good ways down. Handle name is j_c_a, and they are Momo speakers

Those are 2 10"s. Just for reference, the fibreglass box fills the entire tool well as well as extends somewhat above it. Using the old styrofoam peanut method, i measured ~1.4 cu. ft.

Why not just use one of those subs in a built to spec ported box with the right sized amp? I figure that would be the best way to go instead of trying to squeeze two hx2's in there. Those things are beasts!
What amp are you using?

You CAN do anything with enough effort and money, but it's not going to be easy. Plus, you're going to be rattling like crazy. Two 12's are a lot different in a trunk than in a hatch like the Camaro.
