can this be done
My immobiliser fob is nearly worn out (as seen in the pic below). I think all MY00's came with a standard alarm but were then called back to have an immobiliser fitted so the original alarm fob is of no use because it only controls the alarm and not the immobiliser
I have the original Honda alarm fob (as seen in the pic below) and i was wondering would it be possible to program the original alarm fob to control everything instead of replacing the immobiliser fob...
thanks in advance

And to answer ur question though yes you can.. kinda complicated though.. weve done it before to other cars... Basically you have to open your aftermarket remote and hardwire the remote for power to the vehical (make sure you have the right voltage going to it though) then use the factory arm and disarm wires, tie them into the remote so when you lock through ur factory remote it will be like hitting lock on ur other remote too...
Im sure there might be an better way but this was quick and easy for us.

That is a dealer installed alarm, and has absolutely nothing to do with Honda. It's most likely a DEI alarm, so you would just need a DEI remote. Other than that, I can't really help.
PM Jackson (RevHi)....he has a lot of experience with alarms, and should be able to help you a little more.

Give me the number off the back of that remote. It should be something like "EZSDEI***."
The code on the back of the remotes read -
immobiliser remote:
EXEMPT
alarm remote:
ETS 300 220
G8D-453H-A
G130
779J
Do any of these codes make sense to you and thanks again

Hardwiring in so the signal from the factory remote triggers the aftermarket remote to communicate the signal to the immobilizer box.
