Calling Kirk 'The Captain':: My Kenwood Sub..
Well-- FWIW, Kirk bought me a Kenwood powered sub box... its got like 2 ..ohhh 5" subs? (They are small)--but lemme tell ya.. my S2K BOOOOMS. It tiny, mounted in the trunk, and it rocks... AND has a 100w amp built in. I don't know the exact name-- its some kind of 'virtual sub' or something. Kirk (The Captain) knows the name. But, bang-4-the-buck... I'm VERY happy with the sound.

What sort of "favors" must one perform to receive such gifts?
And if one is not willing to do said favors, how much of ones own money would be required to purchase this sub? Is it mounted on top of the tool kit or off to the side or by the spare? Do you wire in through a crossover or does the sub have that built in as well?

Crossover and AMP are built in.. I mounted it up-right on the left in the rear of the trunk.. it fits nicely and takes very little room. (It was an X-mas gift)

Yes, it is the Woox. Pretty cool little sub and it works well in the Miata and S2000. Glad you like it Aaron seeing as how it sounds as good if not better than that big 8" Polk with the box you made.
