A/c switch won't turn off?

Hey having an issue with my 2002 s2000. When I turn the climate control on, the a/c light stays on and won't seem to turn off? Car has a kpro Ecu if that has anything to do with it. Any ideas? Thanks

Are you sure you don't have the front defog/defrost position active? If you do, the unmodified S2K HVAC system keeps the AC turned on.

Usually climate control is used to refer to a system with feedback system so you can set a specific temperature.

The AC dehumidifies the air which aids in defogging.
