Blitzsafe iPod Adapter Review - HON / M-LINK1 V.2X
Blitzsafe iPod Adapter HON / M-LINK1 V.2X
I just installed the above iPod adapter into my 2007 S2000. Not much to tell as far as a review, but I thought it might help others who are looking for a cheap way to connect and charge their iPod. The device plugs into the cd changer port in the back of the stock head unit. As the factory head unit just sees the iPod as a cd changer, all controls are done from the ipod itself. Since you aren't modifying the factory harness or cd player the dash controls for volume, mute, etc all remain functional. Upon turning the vehicle off and removing the key from the ignition the ipod is automatically paused, but continues to be charged for 20 minutes. Sound quality is great, and there aren't any ground-loop issues due to it being on the same power/ground as the factory headunit. I purchased it new from amazon.com (marketplace) for $75 (much cheaper than on the Blitzsafe website). If anyone has any questions feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them.
