I would stick with Denon and try the Paradigm speakers. They make a great sub also. I used to sell most of the major speaker brands and they were the best for the money. They boost the low frequencies a bit for my taste but most people tend to like that.

CNET gave them a real good review, but have they been around long enough? Plus, I like to deal with stores, and hear them before I buy something.

I think the Axiom Audio speakers have a 30-day money back guarantee for the express purpose of demoing them with your own gear in your own room. Hearing speakers in a store is great but any speaker already in a store is heavily marked up. It's not the most ideal situation either way.
