Default best buy amp suggestion

Hey guys, I have a giftcard to best buy and would like to use it to get an amplifier to power my alpine 9885 and diamond audio component set. I bought them used so I am not sure what model the comp. are but the guy said he paid $300 for them...I just need this amp to clarify things a bit more and to have more sound when driving topdown on my way to california from dallas! What is the best amp I can get from best buy for this situation?

After looking on Best Buy's website I have found 2 options that I think would work great.

This amp would be just fine for the casual listener. Reasonable price and provide enough power and clarity.

1. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Alpine+-+200W+...0&skuId=8699349

This amp is one of my favorites PERIOD. First of all it is class D design so it gives off nearly no heat. Also being class D it is very small and can be mounted almost anywhere, such as above the fuel tank. Also it is a extremely clean AND powerful. It is a 4 channel amp and that adds the benefit of if you ever decided to add a sub then you could just bridge the 2 rear channels for the sub and continue to use the front channels for the speakers. This is a great amp on all accounts. Reliable, great price, good sound quality and gobbs of power which is especially important in a convertible with road noise. Hope this helps!

This is an excerpt from the first amp you posted a link to. Can anyone explain the bottom 2 lines? It is giving 25W RMS more per channel. Does it have to do with the 1% THD? Please educate me. I'm actually looking for an amp as well...

# 200W peak power (50W x 4) @ 4 ohms, 14.4V, 20Hz - 20kHz, 1% THD
# 150W x 2 RMS (continuous) power @ 4 ohms, bridged
# 50W RMS (continuous) power x 4 @ 4 ohms, 14.4V, 20Hz - 20kHz, 1% THD
# 75W RMS (continuous) power x 4 @ 4 ohms, 14.4V, 20Hz - 20kHz

I have the Kappa four and love it, it's tiny for the power. You are going to need the extra power to overcome the road/wind noise and maintain an unclipped signal.

Use the gift card for the wiring kit, you can find the amp for $300 online.

What speakers are you powering with the infinity amp?

Alpine Type R components and a 10" infinity ref sub in the trunk.

I had a infinity reference amp with 75RMS to the doors but it wasn't enough for the road noise and was clippin.
