Haha I turned on the DCI's "tap" feature, which expands the use the of dash controls and I was quite confused at first because the button layout/functions had changed on me!

This is unrelated, but I need to vent-
The shop that repaired the ding left a fat drip on the paint they did. They are claiming it was there already... Yes. A multi-level drip on my factory paint job. Good call.
Going to go postal on their asses.

I recently had my rear bumper resprayed. They over sprayed a 1/4" spot near the fuel cap. I had to use compound to rub it away. I didn't want to come back to the shop.
My box. I am almost done. Just need to sand and carpet. I was going to build a ring around the sub to make it flush but my router tip was so worn out, I skipped it.

My woofer came in today, so I will be test fitting and performing some final adjustments and hopefully I left myself enough carpet to get this bad boy done!
Now keeping it from moving in the car... I haven't figured that one out. I was thinking Velcro somehow... It is QUITE snug as is, but with the vibrations of the woofer I could imagine it shaking a bit.

Behind the carpeting, there is a part of the frame that runs along the fender side with holes drilled in it. You can drill a hole thru the back of the box and put a bolt thru. I would get a bumpstop and cut it shorter and put a piece on the inside and outside of the box and slicone it.

Good call. I think I will use the lower push pin location and just replace it with a stainless steel bolt, and drill a hole in the box, use a thick rubber grommet on either side of the bolt. Then possibly silicone it from the inside.

Box is pretty much done, I want to put some resin around the terminals to secure it, drill some pilot holes for the sub, and that's about it.
FYI, I have a JL grill already for the sub, but that will go on last.
Here's some picture:
