The proper setting can be found only while the radio is in BT hands-free mode (page 48 of the pdf manual). The setting to adjust is "Bluetooth HF/Audio", where you can select "Front" or "All". Even though the manual describes this for voice, is applies to both voice and audio streaming.

(recalling from memory)
your phone has to be connected then go into bt settings
then i believe u push the center circular main button to bring up audio settings
look for Bluetooth HF/Audio"
then u can toggle to change the speaker settings from front to all
i can try it when i get off work and tell u exactly

I appreciate it. I'm going to go give this a try right now.
EDIT: Hey hey hey! That did the trick! Thanks a ton for pointing that out, saved me some painful time talking to customer service.
Thanks,

Well I seem to have another problem.
My car keeps dying, and needs a jump or a charge.
So I see that one of two things are happening.
Either the voltage display distribution block is sapping enough energy displaying the voltage to deplete the battery - or the battery is no good.
I should check the date on the battery and have it tested I suppose.

I mounted the mic by my right knee, on the lower part of the dash.
I've only attempted one call, on the highway with the top down. I could hear them, but they could not hear me. I have no adjusted any of the settings or tried again since then...
