Long story short,
i am trying to purchase i-pod, and i will be only using the i-pod when i go work out, or in the car. and i do not need screen if my HU can read what song am i playing and such,
so if anyone is using their i-pod shuffle w/ their HU, please let me know how they work.

yes , and everything is in the programing of the headunit itself.. make sure you get the highspeed ipod cable... it's like $30 bux and it works for much faster. the ida x001 shouulld come with it depending on who you buy it from.

 

Nothing is going to be compatable with a Shuffle.

Get a Nano.

 

only thing you can do is hook up the headphone jack of the shuffle into an aux input on the back of your HU

 

lol I miss read , I thought you wanted to "shuffle" on your ipod... you need AUX IN

 

Sorry, they are correct. Aux in WOULD work. What I should have said was: nothing DECENT will work with a shuffle. Get a Nano.
