Antenna amp??
Like many other S2K owners I'm kinda frustrated with the car's poor radio reception. I was just reading a few posts that mentioned that the S2K had an antenna amplifier. I have an aftermarket headunit and I remember when I installed the headunit seeing something in Macgyver's documentation on a Antenna/Remote Amp Relay wire. Should I have wired up something to this wire? Maybe the blue amplifier remote turn-on wire from the headunit?
Also do any of you know anything that can be done to improve AM reception because I can't catch ANY AM channels. Thanks!

During my headunit/stereo upgrade... I tried the radio without the antenna amplifier powered and then with it powered and noticed absolutely no difference in about 10 radio station samples...
I have therefore left my antenna amplifier unpowered...

Shaner,
I left mine unpowered, but I've started to wonder if I shouldn't hook it up after all. For some stations I really have to crank up the volume. Did you just connect it directly to +12V for testing purposes?

MacGyver,
If my memory serves me correctly... I did just try to connect the green/yellow lead of the antenna amplifier directly to 12V. My Helm showed that lead receiving + signal when the head was powered...

Honda sells a 16" antenna that screws right on to yours. Its for the "Insight" and they offer it for about $15 to up your reception for the S2000. You can buy it on at this website. Hope the link works.
