Amp recommendations?
OK....after getting input from many of you, I have decided to change my strategy. Ultimately, I want to run a new headunit, Diamond Audio S600 components in the front, and amplify it. I have the Diamonds in another vehicle powered by a 75x2 amp and love it.
I am now thinking I will do this in 2 stages (too poor to do it all at once):
1) Diamond speakers and amp (use stock headunit)
2) Headunit (I like the Alpine 9835.....we'll see)
I think with powered Diamonds, I will not need rear speakers.....do you agree? If that is the case, then I would need a 2 channel amp with anywhere from 75 to 150 watts per channel. Anyone have any good recommendations? I'm looking for a combo of performance and value.....in other words, perhaps a closeout or something.
I assume the stock headunit has no preouts. Would that require me to use an amp with speaker level inputs, or is there a converter I could use for an amp that doesn't have speaker level inputs?
Thanks for any input!

I just bought an Alpine T320 to power my Fosgate Fanatic Q's. I have not installed it yet but the specs are 80w rms x2 @ 4ohms. I was also debating wether or not to get the rear speakers. I'm hoping that the T320 will make it a moot point. I got it for $159, I'm not sure how much you are looking to spend.

JBL PX600.2 (150 watts x 2). About $300. These are great amps.
