Default Amp question? Difference between

I've noticed that the mono amps cost a lot more than 2 channel amps. What is the difference? I noticed a 2 channel bridged gives more power than some mono amps and cheaper.

classic AB class 2-channel amps are generally less efficient than a similar class D mono amp. Mono amps are also generally a bit smaller (not much). Most mono amps are also capable of a 2-ohm load (efficiency again....), while most of the AB amps are just 4-ohm stable. You can use an AB amp, just chose your sub accordingly.

What's your application, high-end or average/low end? Mono is better for subs. IMHO.
