hmmm...SEAS is a good brand? i'm trying to find new components or a new amp for the components i have...the bass from the subs really drowns out my kappas...
What Neutered is discussing is buying individual drivers, that may or may not be specifically designed for automobile application, and then using active crossovers to match the drivers to each other and the rest of the system. The rewards can be higher than picking off the shelf pre-matched car audio component systems, and the cost can be less, but requires more know-how and tuning time. For those contemplating this route, the DIY mobile audio forum is a great resource. |
oh, i need to see if if i can tune the amp i have driving my speakers, and if that isn't good enough, i'll get a new amp, if it's still not up to snuff, i'll get some new components...
dang i just checked out the SEAS site...they look like they are serious business... |
DFW, what amp(s) do you have for your subs / mids?

[QUOTE=philbert,May 8 2009, 11:02 AM] Seas is among the suppliers of OEM drivers to high-end speaker manufactures.
