Alpine DVD Nav without cutting?
#21
This is an older nav setup. I did it like almost three years ago.
My setup can not watch dvd, the nav and the alpine HU are totally separated.
If I add an adapter and a dvd player or a CD/DVD changer, I suppose I can watch DVD, but there is no need to.
The HU needs an adaptor for an I-pod, too.
Hate those adapters.
No more pictures for now. These pictures are pretty much it. Nothing fancy about this one.

Thanks dude.
The camera works fine. The picture you see onthe screen is the camera working that's my brother in the picture.
The mirror goes on the shelf You can use the clip for your highway speedpass...
I haven't made a 'How-To' for this one, as it takes a lot of time to do a proper write up and most people aren't going to be doing this kind of install, so it would be kind of a waste...

Hey guys I finally got my JVC KD-AVX1 installed last night. It is a 1 DIN headunit with a built in CD/MP3/DVD player and a 3" monitor all in one. I have taken a lot of pics, could someone load them up for me I don't know how to do it.

Hey darkknight do you have a thread with more pics of this or a little how to? That looks sick. Also is there still room to put the rear view mirror in or is the camera good enough?

Isn't that illegal? I thought you were required to have a mirror by law....
When was the last time you saw a tractor trailer with a rear view mirror or a extra large motor home with a useful rear view mirror... The point is nothing by law state you 'must' have a rear view at least in MA.
