Alpine CDE-133BT & Modifry's DCI
I'm looking to upgrade to a Alpine CDE-133BT from a CDA-9885 for the bluetooth streaming & phone capabilities but can't find any info on compatibility with Modifry's Alpine DCI harness. I know that most CDE units haven't been compatible in the past but don't want to lose my dash controls. Anyone had experience with this or have any other suggestions for a HU? Thanks.

As long as the head unit has a wired remote input, which according to Alpine's website this one does, you shouldn't have a problem with just plugging the radio in and enjoying it.

Want to keep your steering wheel controls?
In most vehicles, you can use an adapter to connect your vehicle's steering wheel controls to this Alpine stereo. Connect a few wires, then program the adapter for your particular car and the Alpine, and you'll retain the convenience of your steering wheel controls.

It worked perfectly, bluetooth connecting to HU, streaming pandora as soon as I get in the car for the past 2 days. All of a sudden about an hour ago it would not connect to bluetooth, looking to see if Alpine has updated firmware. As far as the controls go, volume and forward works (mode button). Mute / Channel button do nothing.
UPDATE: Did a reset on the HU everything seems to be working again.
