Airbag SRS Light Is On
I took the steering wheel off. Put it back a day or so later, and now I have that wonderful light!
How do I get rid of it?
I tried resetting the ECU... etc...
Will and OBD2 reader do the trick?

you can go to your local dealer and buy this wire plug that connects to the MES 2P yellow connector under your dash. the number for that plug is: 07PAZ-001011A. i think it cost under $15. you have to go through a series of plugging and unplugging that connector when the SRS indicator turns on/off so that you can erase the memory from the SRS unit. i have recently done this when i took off my dash, and it's because you have to unplug your battery before you unplug your airbag. the process is explained more in the service manual on p.23-19. i hope that helps.

To other members reading thing....NEVER turn off an SRS light by yourself. Always go to the dealer and get it checked out. If there is a problem with your airbags, you might want to know what it is.
