I don't believe there are any aftermarket headunits that preserve the dash controls. However you can buy an adapter that restores the use of the controls. I bought the Modifry adapter and it works great. It even adjusts the volume level based on the speed of the car if you want it to. With a Pioneer HU the dash controls will work a little differently from stock, but it would be a good upgrade to preserve the controls.

Your head unit has to be compatible with a steering wheel control adapter for them to work. That Pioneer does not support steering wheel controls.

modifry.com has a list. alpine HUs are the most popular i think, im sure youll be fine with a alpine 105. and buy your HU online, not through BB. save some money. good luck!

For the wired DCI. Modifry has an IR DCI as well.

Check the compatibility lists on Modifry's site. I highly recommend using a HU that is compatible with the wired DCI. If you go Alpine you can use Modifry's Alpine PnP harness which makes install a snap. Swapping out the head unit only takes a few minutes with the PnP harness.

Go Alpine, it's better quality and very user friendly. Also all the usb connection is in the rear so you can route the cable anywhere and you can still use the radio cover door.
