aftermarket dash control for JVC?
I'm thinking of installing a JVC KD-LH3100 MP3/CD Player in my S.
Couldn't find dash control compatibility for Lucid's DCI (checked site already) and Qube hasn't replied to my pm. Anyone else know of a suitable alternative? I'm not thrilled about PAC SWI-X's delay and found some mention of a "pinky's" mod to it but couldn't find any more info.
Has anyone installed this HU? If yes, is it worth upgrading? I especially like the 90 sec PIC feature and intend on shocking my passengers a bit.

I ended up going with the PAC SWI-X for use with my JVD KD-SX980. The delay sucks a little, but you get used to it after awhile. It's better than no dash controls at all! It's a pretty cheap solution ($50?) compared to Qube ($200) or even Lucid ($95).
I think the Qube one would be the coolest if you could swing it. I'm pretty sure that his method will work with any headunit since he is basically using a standard universal remote control. I think the remote just memorizes whatever IR signals you need.
The standard dash controls don't even cover the basic functions on my headunit because you hit DOWN on the remote to jump between radio presets, but you hit RIGHT to go to the next CD track. For now I have the CHANNEL dash button set to the remote's DOWN button since I mainly listen to the radio.
