Would be easy to install in the dash as it is very shallow in depth and is DIN sized.
For the time being, I decided to hang it from my windshield with some Blitz suction cup mounts. I like the idea of being able to use it when I want to and then remove when I am just doing some easy driving.

(Although I still think the stock setup is all but useless for everyone, including owners of stock S2000's who only drive on the street!)

I'm still running the prototype in my car, and I've found one "bug" to work out, but otherwise it's operating as expected. I'll be at a track day on Friday so I can report next week on how it behaves under track conditions. I'll probably play with the set points between sessions if my current max of 205

Nah, it's just that Giles and I had some data/info/observations to share, given the work we did on the ECT sensor already. Mainly, Giles deserves the credit. I was just the conduit. That's what I do: assemble and package information. But we did at least try to be of some use to Modifry in this endeavour.
The Economist essentially said that things are pretty rosy Down Under but expressed some concerns about rising levels of household debt. Some of that, obviously, is mortgage debt which poses less of a threat in some sense than other forms of non-capital asset driven purchases, but it's of mild concern in the event of a downturn. That's what I remember of the article at any rate.
An aside, but my interest in the S2000 actually took root in Queensland in early 2000 when I rented one (it hadn't been released in the U.S. yet) for a long weekend a loved it, although I never did get used to shifting with my left hand!
