Yes it does.

Something to ponder; with the openings closed off, I think it makes the cabin area less windy.

I'm sorry, but I've seen car audio installers custom build these for S2000s almost as soon as the car came out, so I don't really see S-Pods as proprietary intellectual property. They priced themselves out of many owenrs budgets. Some people can't justify spending over $200 for speaker brackets, albeit a nice looking product.
