2004-05 rear speaker installation
I got a set of Infinity Kappa 5.25" components mounted to my rear panels, but am having trouble figuring out how to wire it. All I have are the speakers+tweeters themselves, and the crossovers -- no wiring yet.
My question is: For those with rear speakers in their AP2, how did you wire it, and what kind of wiring harness, etc. did you use (if any)?
After reading some old posts, I came upon a Honda headrest install instructions, and those mention a harness in the driver's side front side console. But, upon opening my rear panels, I notice that there's already a wiring harness sitting there -- is this the rear defroster plug for the OEM optional hardtop, or is this stereo related?
Thanks -- any help is appreciated.

That plug is for the hard top defroster. The wiring harness you want should be just above and to the right of your rignt knee when you are driving. There should already be wires in the radio harness clipped off and taped back for rear speakers (only in AP2's, AP1 has open locations on the plug itself only).

For the AP1 you can buy a car harness adapter and a radio harness adapter with the rear speaker leads on the radio side. You just splice them together with the two purple and the two green leads (rear left and right) coming from the radio side wired into your rear speakers.
If I get time, I'll take a picture of the one that I have.

But please post up any pics you have, as I'm sure it would be helpful to others.
Thanks for the help.
