'06 Rollbar Speakers in an '04
I'm trying to find out just how difficult it would be to retrofit the '06 Rollbar speaker set up into an '04. I know you have to replace the rollbars all together, at least that's what Honda tells me. I have a price on the parts, but Honda can't seem to figure out the install price or if it can even be done.
Has anyone else tried this? What kind of cost was the install? How difficult was the install? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The speakers aren't the best, there are better solutions for far less most likely as long as you tune the system properly.
Anyways, you would need to run the wires from the aftermarket (or 06) HU to the rear, install any sort of mating quick connect on the wires. Add the quick connects on the tweeter wires, install the rollbar cover back, run the tweeter wires, install the rollbar cover front, glue them, connect the speaker.
That's assuming you only need to switch the covers, but the wiring would be the easiest part IMO.
Again, not sure why you would do this. They provide a decent amount of rear fill but I think there are better solutions for rear fill.
