I've never been the best at math, but it looks to me like:

50K mile CR + 10K in modifications < 50K mile CR

Nothing like horribly devaluing a collector car. Least hang onto the oem stuff.. If you can afford a CR and those mods you can afford a beater ap1/ap2 instead of raping the CR. Least he claimed ownership of the mess though in the first sentence.
This car just needs to finish the circle and end up on copart or iaai.
