S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

Is there OEM black H emblem?

Thanks everyone!
Matt, I'll bring mine to the meet and we'll do yours in the lot haha

@Ldo, No removel neccesary. I just used old news paper and auto masking tape. Came out pretty good, but I'm not 100% satisfied due to it was the 1st time I had ever used this stuff. Honestly I can't see why anyone would remove the emblems and go thru all the prep work. This method is 100% reversable There are threads for this, but for some reason I can't search at the moment .

I'm kinda on a "DIY" kick right now lol, just CF wrapped my 05 radio door, center console pieces and key(all silver pieces) due to being scratched from previous owners

I plastidiped mine as well, but I screwed up a bit on taking the dip off in the spots between the raised emblem... scratched the paint a bit. Fortunately the front bumper got rock chips on it anyway, so.... doesn't matter too much.

No one mentioned it, but Honda does produce the OEM Black Chrome emblems.

They are the enamel/plastic filled "bubbles" with a black background. I have them installed on my S.

True but they aren't up to size of the 02+ emblem. Starting in 02, Honda went to a larger emblem.

You definitely want to REMOVE the emblem to paint it. I sanded mine with 500 grit sandpaper, primered and then sprayed 3 coats of flat black paint.

(P.S. I removed the CR emblem on my car since this trunklid was from a real CR)

Nice job Rick -- looks good! Why'd you decide to take the CR emblem off? Didn't want to pose too bad?

Correct, they are smaller sized - BUT they still look fine.

Will have to try to grab a quick picture.

Looks like you tinted the amber and clear parts of your tails. Looks good!

I have a question for everyone. has anyone used the clear spray PlastiDip to protect the front of their CR? This would be a temporary measure for road trips, but could easily be applied prior to a track day as well and then removed afterward.
