Swift Spec R.... Review

I do not know if these springs will 'settle' and drop (hopefully they do), as the fronts are a half inch higher than the rears. The car drives and rides pretty much like the OEM CR springs. Of course, I still have to do an alignment later on, which I'll probably do after I get new tires (both the front and the rear are at the wear bars already. I can barely clear the driveway! I do love the drop now, giving a chance to continue using the CR suspension with the enhanced drop the springs now provide. I did not get any axle spacers for the car, and so far I don't feel or hear any weird noises from the chassis, so that should be good. Time will tell if these springs, once given time and use, will be of noticeable effect. I hope that the fronts will drop a little bit more, otherwise I might have fronts preloaded again. Can't wait to put the hardtop back on for more pictures!

Darkfalcon. Your drop is the inverse of mine. Did you install the front springs in the front? I would go preload the front and re tighten. Those numbers don't sound correct.

I just saw the comparison pics had some off height measurements. Given this, you need to recheck as stated by adrs2k. Those are way off mine as well. In the end the front does have a slightly larger gap depending on the tire you have.

The springs themselves say 'Front' and 'Rear', and I'm pretty sure it's correct. I will attempt to do another preload on the front to hopefully correct the front gap. I am also due for new tires and an alignment, as the tread is pretty worn.

I thought so but was not sure. I posted my measurements a few pages back as well. I measured from the ground to the fender lip at dead center.

Picture of me rolling on my "special springs". All I hear is that my car looks lower than every other car on these springs. I must have gotten the special edition Swift Spec R springs!

^MONEY!!!!!!!!!
I am curious as to how much camber I can gain with these installed. I want to get more camber for autocrossing and tracking my car. Thanks.

Max in the front will be -2.2 on stock joints, and rear you can get over -3 on the stock joints with the Swift Springs.
