^ ever get any pics of the springs on the car? I would like to see ABP with the springs. I am bored and want to do a little mod this summer to my car, and I still kind of want these springs.

Luckily I have seen a CR with these springs in person a couple of times. Every time I say to myself, damn that is perfect looking! I drove a AP1 with these springs on the Nurburgring. Springs weren't a perfect match for the old and tired AP1 dampers, but the car never bottomed out or ran out of travel. I know psychoazn was concerned that by lowering the car and without a significant increase in spring rate the car would bottom out (as he is close to doing at Laguna Seca -corkscrew) but I am not worried about that now after the ring. I caught air a few times and the car never bottomed out Plus the reality for me is, I don't have time to track the car frequently, so I should just build my car for the street and occasional track day..

Hmm - we run spec-R's on our Ap1 and the CR above seems to sit lower, possibly? Its been on the car for atleast a month now I did ensure to pre-load the suspension etc. We are running 235/40/17's and 245/40/17. I love the simplicity of springs/struts and don't want to swap these out for coilovers. I almost want to just run these with new Koni's in STR, but know most folks run much more aggressive rates
Here is a comparison picture I dug up. I wonder if its tires that make it look different??

Nice thread. Swift seems to do a nice job it was the only springs I could get to work on my Evo w/MR Bilstiens (did not want to go coilovers either). I am very aware of the work Honda has done to match the CR struts and springs etc...(btw, who does make the struts and springs on the CR?) but the wheel gap is too much. Are we saying most of you guys approve of this combo? Stock struts at 8K ok with these particulars Swift springs? Or is there a better matched strut? I just don't want to end up trashing the ride quality and hobby horsing around town?
PS. I hope to be a CR owner soon...doing my home work now
