Remembering Vanishing Point
I wanted to share that one of the original CR and S2KI members, Vanishing Point did pass away last month. He actually passed away while racing at Watkins Glen.
Many original CR owners will remember the CR meet that we had in 2013. That event was spearheaded by Steven (Vanishing Point), Adam (adrs2k) and myself. I will never forget the countless strips to Southern California that he and I both made to make sure that everything was set and ready for that event. All three of us grew much closer in the months to come and the many years after including a trip to his house in Dallas to see his amazing collection of all the CR’s that he owned.
He was the kind of guy that would do anything for other people, including funding much of the event himself that many people never knew about.

While I didn't know Steven personally, I absolutely knew "Vanishing Point" and his legendary status in our community. To this day, I don't know that anyone else in the world has a CR of each color in their garage like he did, definitely unique and super cool. I'm happy to hear though that he passed doing what he loved, racing on the track. He will be missed, thanks for everything VP and RIP.
