Pictures of Lowered CR's

IN the link that was posted if you search through a couple pages there were a bunch of pictures posted by me. There are two ABP and one BB. The BB CR is sitting on swift spec r springs. 1 inch drop. It looks perfect and I do wish looks wise the car came like that stock. I drove the car briefly and it feels awesome. The slight increase in rear spring rate felt good, and I think with the stock alignment might get ride of a little understeer. That said, if you learn to drive a CR with stock alignment (use the throttle nice and early out of a corner) there is no understeer.

Thank you for all you input. I was really hoping to see pictures and hear suggestions for slightly lowered CR (I should have been clearer.) I will be keeping all my stock equipment if I don't like what I change it too. Also I've seen CR's with springs that are just lowered between .5 - 1 inch and they look great. So far every CR owner that I've read about that has done this says that it does not affect the ride quality or feel of the car much at all.
By no means am I wanting to slam my car because I don't like that look IMO. I just want to have a little better look when I drive around. I don't track very often but I do love to take drives on great twsity and bendy roads. Just like the rest of us or why would be buy a CR! Because of this I bought the Tein S tech springs.
I'm not planning on "tricking" my CR out but I do plan on a full exhaust system and vortech supercharger after I pay the damn thing off!
Thank you all I love this forum!

I think that whomever told you there was no effect on ride quality or feel of the car was incorrect. Speaking from experience, switching the suspension completely changes the dynamic of the car. To me the car never felt the same. In the intermediate between the KWv3's and the OEM suspension I had high rate lowering springs on the car. Huge difference. Once swapping the KW's in and playing with the settings I felt that I adjusted them to their optimum. Which was great. I have no negative feelings about them at all. I liked them so much I sold my CR suspension.
As time went on I was used to the handling. Only after driving a stock CR I felt what I was missing. And you're right, the look is better with a drop, and outside influences are very influential. A lot of the drive to swap the suspension was because of friends telling me to lower it.
At any rate, I truly believe if you lower it, you will love the look and maybe during city driving you won't notice that much difference. Once you do some spirited driving or even start taking highway off ramps at speed, you will miss your suspension. But, alas, that is just my opinion from experience.
Here's my car lowered;
And back at OEM height and suspension

If you're going to lower it to improve it (and I do agree with you here that there will always be a way to improve it), then that's great!
But nonetheless, it's (said-person's) car. Do what you want with it.

I see both sides to the argument, but calling people idiots based on a personal preference is dumb, imo.

Great advice!
Do with your car however you feel you can enjoy it most!

I find some of the posts in here entertaining ~ the OP just wants pics of CR's slammed, not a judgemental reply!!!
For those of you who are track junkies or really believe stock is better than more power to you but not everyone likes stock. I bet many of you CR owners have never even hit the track. Not everyone buys a car to track it - my bro wants a CR just because he thinks it's the top of the line model.
Personally I agree track setup and street setup require different ride heights which is why they made coilovers.
Going fast on the track is mostly driver skill anyways. I bet a skilled driver in a KWV3 CR will beat a bone stock CR with a similar driver.....not always about the car. I'd rather look good 90% of the time when on the street than drive around in a lifted car most of the time.
P.S. I've seen modded Ferrari's and people do it because they can and it looks better. I think most stock F-cars have horrible ride height properties.
Mine is not an authentic CR but it looks 10x better this way than at stock ride height for sure:

I was watching videos of professional honda drivers testing the car and they all love it but they also agree that the s2000 is still a "tuners" car. Even though it is limited edition car it's still geared toward people who can make it "better" With that said cheers to more pictures!
