Out of curiosity I started down the path of trying to find the VIN and ownership history of every CR made. I started off by trying to track down VINs from auction history and this forum but thanks to the guidance of a few of members here I figured out how to manually find every VIN. After many, many hours of trial and error I have tracked down all 699 CR VINs and found some super interesting data on ownership history etc. There are some limitations as I only have data that is reported via Carfax so the mileage is likely higher. Additionally there are quite a few that were exported or totaled early on so mileage for the exported cars is likely higher than what I have access to. Here is what I found:

Average Mileage-49,505 miles
-Over 100k miles-64 (9.2%) (there are about 10-12 VINs that will likely hit 100k miles next year)
-Under 10k miles-82(14 of these were exported early on and likely have over 10k miles. There are also likely 5-6 cars in here that are still new based on the data)

"Bad" Carfax (includes all damage short of total loss)-184 cars (26%)

Salvage cars-65 (9.3%)
-Salvage "Delete" cars-12 (20.3%)

Average # of Owners-2.8

Exported-80 (11.4%)
-Canada-30
-Taiwan-26
-Puerto Rico-5 (this number is all sold inn PR as well as one that was exported to PR)
-UAE-3
-Korea-3
-Guam-2
-Finland-2
-Hong Kong-2
-Belarus-1
-Italy-1
-Poland-1
-Phillipines-1
-Qatar-1

#691, VIN 0349 definitely is in Russia and has been since 2009. Curious if you know where it went first since I don't see it listed as one of the countries above

 

#691 shows being offered for sale at Castle Honda in Morton Grove, IL and no data ever reported. Thanks I will update that!
