I go up to Bakersfield about once a month to work at Nursing/Rehab/Convalescent homes.

On Wednesday, I spotted a CR parked out in front of one in Bakersfield....by chance does it belong to anyone on the forum?

Bakersfield isn't really know as the performance car capitol of CA if you know what I mean....

 

It's pretty close to Buttonwillow Raceways, I stayed in Bakersfield with my CR in July when we had an event at Buttonwillow. Might help to add the color, I think a few CR owners on here go to Buttonwillow regularly.

 

Sorry about that...forgot. It was black, and again, parked in front of a nursing home/rehab facility.

 

When we had the OC event, there was someone in Bakersfield who was gonna try to go.

Yes, that's the rehab...I don't remember if it had a silver hood, it could have though. This was just last wednesday.

Cool! I'm an Optometrist and I work for a company that goes around to nursing/rehab facilities all over the state. I was there doing exam at the West side on Wed and the east side on Thurs, but I didn't see your car on Thurs.

What dept do you work in? Patient care, food service....?

 

Work in rehab department. That's pretty cool. I knew there were eye people there but i only seen a girl who i believe was an assistant. U shoulda asked the front desk to page me over the intercom lol


You'd be surprise about Bakersfield. We have some pretty nice cars here and majority are into drag racing. S2k community is not so active but we have a few boosted s2k and one is making 700whp lol.

I do usually see a couple of S2k's whenever I go up there.
